   No  Rich...    All I did was drive it up and down the street for them while they were filming.

    HA HA  That's not about to happen but it's kinda nice when they ask to put our cars in movies.

    It's a WWII submarine movie.  The captain of the American sub would have had a 40 Ford.   I know the German speaking captain of the German Sub.  When he came for the 40, he saw the 34 they wanted that one also. They changed the script to include the 34 cabriolet and that was the American captain's wife's car.  The house in the picture would have been the American captain's house.

   ( In real life, that house is the home of the grandmother of American who played the part of the German captain.)

     During WWII cars in Mass.  had to have their headlights blackened out with just a little slit for light.  I blackened out the 40 lights but with the short notice I didn't do the 34.

So when did the filming take place, and what was the name of the movie?
I have a friend out here in Texas that had two '57 4 dr customs in a Walt Disney movie as police cars. That was years ago, but he still has those two cars as they were painted black for the movie.

   The filming took place last August. 
   Some of the scenes were done in Cohassett Ma. and and some in Battleship Cove in Fall River Ma.   Do you remember those places?
    The name of the movie is Subconscious.

that "trailer" is Hollywood lingo.  I bought a 51 Chevy Belair HT 2 years ago that was a former movie car. It was used is a Kevin Kostner movie "THE WAR"  it was also used in another movie and a TV series. The car was parked out side the owners home when the home cought on fire and burned . The paint on one side and the back were bubbled up from the heat and the curved back window shattered. He drove the car to his farm and parked it behind the barn where I bought it 10 years later.
