What type of 460 serpentine system and accessories

Would like your thoughts on different serpentine systems or pulley setups you've came across for the 460 block. I'm going to be putting a 460 in my wagon soon and would like P/S, and A/C but have only seen a few systems out there for the 460 and their seem a little pricey. It's a 69 block, maybe you guy's know of later year stock stuff that would bolt up, brackets and all?

Ford Blue blood

The 460s did not use the same type serpintine sytem (standard rotation water pump) the small blocks used.  The standard rotation pump, power steering pump, AC and alt were all on the donar I found from a F-350 and were mounted with a big ugly stamped metal plate and had two tensioners to tighten the two belts they used.  I sold the car with the engine (he wanted it worse then I did!) before I had finished up the accessories on the front of the block.  The only difference between the early water pumps and the later with serpentine is mounting points in the casting.  Best way is the after market route.  Yes they are pricey but the setup is cool and works perfect.

Check with Roush Racing, saw theirs in person and it was sweet!  Little pricey but it was sweet.  I don't know if they make their own or buy from a vendor.

   Check in Street Rodder magazine,they have a couple of ads for this system.Pay close attention to the mounting brackets,some are a lot larger than others,(still are pricey but look better than stock). Also try Jegs or Summit web sites. Some of these systems offer mounting for the AC at the lower 4:00 o'clock position to clean up the top of the motor,another choice to consider!    SKIP   :006:
