newer drum brakes

found a set of back brakes off a 68 ltd.big bearing.had my diff apart for the gear change.so just for fun i tryed the 68 backing plate and drum on my 57 wagon.bolted right up fits good.even the drum center hole is the right size.that will give you 11x2 1/4 wide shoes[easy to get]and self adjusting brakes.i think when i put it back together,i will use the 68 brakes

Sounds cool, but you might want to make sure that this setup will fit inside of the stock wheels, if that is what you have on the car.

it is almost the same size as the 57 parts,no problem with the wheels
