convertable top problem

any one out there have a conv?,   today one of the hydrolic cylinders broke a mounting bracket at the bott,  so took it all apart and made a temp fix.  also,  i also broke a top folding arm on the passenger side,  or rather the top frame work right over the passengers side,  if u would lookup u would c the top brackett i mean,    if any one has one let me know, now for the problem, since i lost lots of hydrolic fluid the top dosen't work right,  rather dosen't work,  tried to fill the cylinder with fluid,  just how long does it take?,  seems like forever,  is there a easy way? so how knows what i should know?,  thanks for the help,    jerry, 

PS, found out if u just read the service manual its easier to fill the resavoir,  theres a blasted screw on the back  of the canister.

the pump is filled at the end of resolver on my last convert. it had a bolt in it you filled until it was level with the hole
