57 Ford doorhandles (interior)

Just bought some Dennis Carpenter int. window cranks and door handles. The car was in getting
interior finished and I wanted new shiney handles. The window cranks fit but not the door handles.
Anybody else have this problem? I'll call them Mon.

Ron,
   I bought door handles from Carpenter also. When you look at the teeth in the handle you can't see any difference but they still won't work. I ended up getting used one's that would polish out. I kept the window cranks because they worked. PS, send them back instead of trying to alter them to work. I never could get them to work no matter what I tried. I couldn't send them back after that. Thanks for the reply. I was tempted to grind on them. Glad I didn't. What happened to all that
advertised Carpenter quality? I thought buying new was too easy.

Jim,
I returned the int door handles to Carpenter for a refund. I bought Vintiques brand
and they fit good. Proly only down 18-20 bucks on shipping
