Does anyone know the difference in the actual glass dimensions of the 57,58,59 front windshields? I recently found a usable windshield from a 58 Edsel Ranger and I wonder will it fit my 57 Ranchero. I also was wondering if the difference lies in the cut of the gasket that accepts the trim. I think there is a difference in trim of the 57 300 and 500 Fairlanes. Any advice is welcome.

59 is out.  57 & 58 are the same in their respective series line.  All 500s are the same.  300s, Ranchero and Wagons are all the same.  The 300 series is taller then the 500 series and will not swap out.

58 Edsel Ranger and Pacer are the same as the 500 series Fords.

No, the Edsel will not fit your Ranchero.

FBB is correct. You will need to find a 58 Edsel wagon for the glass to fit. Or get new glass. About $300 before shipping.

I just finished reading the 3 page post on windshield heights from April 2015. At the conclusion I didn't have an answer to the Edsel donor possibility. When I returned it was answered. Oh well. Thanks for your help! I'll drop in again.
