I see there is a couple members 57 fords on EBay , the brown gasser and pro street ranchero. What's up ?

I can't speak for the gasser but I have the Ranchero. Unfortunately my job of the last 18 years has come to an end and at my age and in this area there really isn't a big possibility of finding another one so decided to sell off a couple of my vehicles to pay off my house and get my expenses down. Thinning out the herd is probably a good idea anyway since I don't have the energy or drive I used to so keeping a bunch of cars up was getting harder and harder. Things always seem to work out for the best in the long run.

No real reason for me. HRD

BBoswell,

I know what you mean, I was lucky enough to pay off our house a few years ago.

Having only my social security income and being single limits play money and with things the way they are today I won't to hold off on getting into my retirement money as long as possible . . . so getting rid of that one payment will make it much easier. I'm keeping one car to play with. Unfortunately it won't be a '57. I'm going to be a little more practical (boring) and keep my '32 Ford Highboy. It is a basic simple car that doesn't require a lot of bending and scrunching to work on, parts are readily available and it is simple enough that any mechanic should be able to work on if necessary.

Did your custom 300 go to someone local or out of the state, if its still around ILL keep an eye out for it.

The buyer flew up from Arizona and drove it home.
