polyurethane rear spring shackle bushings

i am looking for better bushings[china bushings are poor quality].looking in one of my chassis parts books,i found the 57 ford [49-59] and the 53-62 corvette use the same rear spring shackle bushings.ordered a set for the corvette from energy suspension,they should fit

Good info...I'm not a real big fan of squeaks, but it is a better alternative than disintergrating rubber.

i have found if you lube them up with the proper lube on install, they do not squeak

What lube do you use?

i have used the lube supplied,i also have had good luck with a product called kopper kote[i think that is how it is spelled]you need to put lots on
