What's the correct color for this?

The stock air cleaner on my 1957 Ford Tudor Ranch Wagon with 292 Y-block is red.  I'm uncertain if this is the correct color and I'm prepared to re-paint it if it's not.  Anyone know for sure what color it was from the factory?  Thanks, Ron

Would that same color be correct for a 312?

Argent Silver for all 57 V-8 aircleaners inc Supercharged.  Also for front splashpans and power steering pump lids.
