59 ford front seat

will the front seat from a 59 2drhtp be the same as a 57 htp? how about a 58 2dr sedan.I need a seat for my 57 and found a very nice one in a 59 but don't know if it will work.  thanks

Will it work? Yes ,will it look original? maybe. the difference between Fairlane and Custom is the seat backs have a notch on a Fairlane.

In 57 and 58 only the Fairlane 500 had the notch in the seat back, the Fairlane had a straight back. I believe the Fairlane and Fairlane 500 had a little thicker seat back than the Custom & Custom 300. But 57/58/59 should all interchange.
