My guess would be Ukrainian, there is still a large Ukrainian population there.  In the early part of the last century, the Canadian Pacific Railway was given 25,000,000 acres of land beside the rail line they built across the country.  They would give immigrants/refugees (including my Grandparents) very cheap boat passage and a chance to buy land near the rail line on a long term repayment plan.

The CPR had built a railway that operated mostly in the wilderness. The usefulness of the prairies was questionable in the minds of many. The thinking prevailed that the prairies had great potential. Under the initial contract with the Canadian government to build the railway, the CPR was granted 25 million acres (100,000 km2). Proving already to be a very resourceful organization, Canadian Pacific began an intense campaign to bring immigrants to Canada. Canadian Pacific agents operated in many overseas locations. Immigrants were often sold a package that included passage on a CP ship, travel on a CP train and land sold by the CP railway. Land was priced at $2.50 an acre and up but required cultivation.[30] To transport immigrants, Canadian Pacific developed a fleet of over a thousand Colonist cars, low-budget sleeper cars designed to transport immigrant families from eastern Canadian seaports to the west.

Ok, Thanks. Last night before I was ready to shut my computer off, one of the pics appeared in a large enough format on my screen....Surprise !  Some sites I post on accept .jpg and .png pics, but on others I have to convert the .png to .jpg I original thought all his pics were .jpg, but I'll use your method if they don't enlarge. Thanks again for the info!

I'm using PAINT, and it must have been my computer that was "slow" at that time, because I can now enlarge any of his pics, so I'm all set, thanks.

    They were still around up in NH about 20 -25 years ago when we drove our 34 Ford 2 dr sedan and sometimes our 34 Ford convertible up to the big Lake George NY car show.    Unfortunately we never got to drive  the 57 Ford custom there.

Stopped there a couple years ago, they have a authentic 50's auto parts store there,  all the stock behind a 7-foot counter, poor lights, mix match of fan belts all on three pegs, it was a beauty.

The Stony Plain picture is not a Ford dealership but found it interesting that it was an Indian dealer.  I have a picture coming of a small town in northern Manitoba and there is a motorcycle riding down the street.  Tough guys to be riding those rodes.
