Sorry to have to tell you this Joe.  You haven't been paying your SA toll.   It's supposed to be placed in my mail box when you drive through.  HaHA
Your 57 always look nice.  I need to get away from here for a while so I can see your new 39.

I'll take a ride by there when we get some good weather, unless you want to come up this way?

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

Jay&Joe, Take care ! I heard that those bad overseas Euro guys are everywhere, and one moment you leave your car to take photograps, it will be gone a second later, never to be seen again. This especially holds true for the dark pine woods of Savery Ave !  I would never dare to walk those woods !

Jay thanx for sending the pic of that upper backlite trim on the Custom. I really never realized that detail before. That is a sweet little touch !

that pic is so clean and crisp, it looks as if it has been taken YESTERDAY, not 70 yrs ago... can't believe it.

Yes, agreed. Obviously not taken with a 35mm camera.
First time in a very long time I've seen a Lincoln version.....usually it's the Mercuries, and also I can't remember when or if I've seen a high quality pic of one that wasn't a Kustom. They are one of my favorite customized cars, but it's easy to forget how beautiful they can be just totally stock.
I wonder if they're were any differences in the sheetmetal Lincoln to Mercury??
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

I believe the bodyshell is identical, but the Lincoln frontend is longer, it also has a different wheelbase.
