Thanks Hemidave!
Marc.. that Karol Miller is one incredible man!... funny story.. when my pal Bob asked about the woman in the Bonneville picture, Karol replied" Oh, thats Flo,...  and she is still hot today."
hahahah

Terry..I've only seen that exhaust set up with Resonators in service manuals... never saw a photo before.

Jeff  I clearly remember seeing the resonators on my brother's 57 Ford Mass State Police car that he bought at Hoover Motors in Boston when the 58's came out.   They removed the whip antenna holes on the quarter panel and the light holes in the roof and painted it for about $50 as I remember.   Jay

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

The ultimate in yard art!

I guess we are all going to be nothing more than a chicken coop someday.

Rare stainless steel Ford and Lincoln cars

The 1936 Ford Deluxe Sedan, 1960 Ford Thunderbird and 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible were all manufactured with the Pittsburgh-based steel company's product on their existing assembly lines. Six Deluxe Sedans, two Thunderbirds and three Continentals were built.

The cars were all used in the real world to help promote and test the durability of the rust-resistant material, and the bodies held up better than their conventional counterparts before they were finally parked.

Doesn't hurt any that the last one pictured is living in AZ. Those are neat.
Have a buddy who owns a rod shop in Montesano WA and he had a customer who wanted his car stripped of every speck of paint...and then clear coated with about 6 coats. He was going to drive it that way. Not sure how that worked out for hum in the rather damp climate of grays Harbor WA which is more damp than most any other part of WA. Have to say though it was sure a cool look. Forgotten now what kind of car it was...I was more focused on that trip with the '39 Lincoln.
