Tank Pickup

Afternoon.

Quick question regarding fuel tank pickup tube.  The tube had been pushed up and was hovering aprox half way between the top and bottom.  I was able reach in there with a water main street key and push it back down.  The little filter is touching the bottom and the tube is coming in at about a 15° to 20° angle.  Is this good or does the tube need to lay flat?  Dont know that ive ever looked in a tank to see what a new one does.

And also, id like to thank Lynn for the best priced almost new old stock tank you can get.   It cleaned up real nice.

Doesn't look you kinked the tube so you should be fine. They usually sit slightly above the bottom of the tank anyway.
