I never heard of them.  The pipes look good.  You have to find out if the end interferes with the transmission crossmember on the 57 Ford application.

Those Mad Dog headers sure look the same as the Crites headers I have seen before. A buddy has the Crites headers on his supercharged FE 1959 Ford wagon, and the headers hang down low enough that he has had to repair them a couple of times due to bottoming them out. He also had to buy the Crites crossmember, as like several other headers, the collectors dump directly into the transmission crossmember. I have the FPA headers that are specifically designed designed for a FE engine in a 57 thru 59 Ford car, and I really like them. They fit well, do not hang down below the frame, and the exhaust pipes can be routed above the stock trans crossmember, just like factory. The FPAs have nice thick flanges, and they are available in either 8, 14 ("GT"), or 16 bolt (428 CJ) exhaust bolt patterns.Not cheap, but well worth the cost, in my opinion.

Mad Dog was located in Allen, Michigan (local for me).  I visited the shop several times and talked to the owner, Mark Delcamp.  Mark made custom headers for my '57 Custom.  Super guy, quality, and service.  Mad Dog Headers is transitioning to the next generation and moved to Georgia.

I've had Mad Dog headers on my 63 Galaxie 406 for 7 years. Haven't had to tighten the header bolts yet. I like pulling one tube to change starter also. Mine are just a tad lower than the 7qt oil pan and they've hit the road a few times.

Jeff, they make nice headers, but be aware that they require a custom trans crossmember as the collectors drop underneath and wont clear.  Also, the front two tubes on each side drop down below the control arms, so they wont work if the car sits low..   Jim Nolan has a set on his 63 Galaxie and likes them.  I had a set for my last 57 but sold them when I changed to stroker small block.  They do fit good, just require attention to the areas mentioned.  Also, each tube is individual slip tube on both sides with bolt on collectors.  BIG tubes, 2 inch primarys with 3.5 or 4 inch collectors.
