Happy Birthday to this old fordor rougarou.

Slow going, but hopefully in the right direction.
May 10th, 2019 and 2018, respectively.

Hey, don't be too critical!

I see some progress, a new dual master brake cylinder, heater block off, some serious chassis degreasing, new tires/hub caps, and nothing wrong with it sitting on jack stands.

Our projects still get done, but sometimes life slows the "progress rate" down.

I worked on mine for 4 years to get it on the road and inspection approved for license plates and still need to do the front and rear bumpers, and a few other things I may or may not get to. Be patient and keep chipping at it.

Yeah, original plan was to vacuum the carpet and drive it, ....haa,  kinda snowballed after the shopvac sucked up all the carpet.  All of a sudden the engines out and the frontend's off. Dang.  At least it's headed towards being back together now instead of still coming apart.

If you can do just 2 small things a week, that adds up to over a hundred little things in the next year.......it all adds up. You'll have something to be proud of along the way and especially when it's done. Keep us posted. Looking really good, btw. That's a solid looking car from what I can see. Gonna be pretty.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

Eugene, remember yours is basically a 'field car' and you had to go through every little part and detail on it to get it roadworthy and streetlegal. Only because it is being kept in patina- og paint, doesn't mean you can jump certain (oh so many) aspects of car.
imho, you made LOTS of efforts in those 2 yrs! loving your clean interior and floor boards. my Del Rio is still shattered to pieces from when I (ignorantly of what I was told here on the forum) disassembled it to the last nut and bolt in 2015. I even had to buy another 57 inbetween.... :003:
looking forward to see yours rolling again soon. keep us posted !
