Saw this 1950 online and liked the look. A couple days later I had a dream I was cruising in it, now I am.
Had to have it shipped from Delaware to British Columbia and the wait was worth it.
Flathead, 3-speed, disc brakes, sway bars, dual exhaust and a lot quieter than my FE.

What a beautiful ride !!! Goes to show how few mods these cars need to really stick out from the rest. perfect stance and tires/wheelcovers. loving the color and sidetrim. and it still has a Flathead!

That is a good looking Shoebox. Makes me want to get going on my 49 coupe. Just purchased a 63-1/2 Galaxie at the Puyallup swap meet in March. So it?s taking up most of my time tho. Oh well the wife knows where I am. Cheers John.

Thanks guys, I had never bought a car site unseen before, but there were over 100 photos on Bring-A-Trailer and from what I saw I liked. I tried to sell my 1953 F-100 on the site and even though it did not meet my reserve they treated me more than fair.
When it arrived it was better than the pictures. A couple little things need to be addressed but that is only me doing my thing. The details are superb, the horn buttons in the Sombrero's, the white pin-striping, the interior all make this package work.

the cloth inserts and door panels design is especially neat! I have been thinking of doing something similar on my 34 Ford. What is the material used on the outer part of the seats ? is that vinyl or cloth ?

The outer material is a soft vinyl, the other fabric is outdoor umbrella stock. I am away for the weekend and will sent you some photos of what we did in my Mercury truck.
