Here's a link to a ton of info on differentials in general, particularly donor cars and specs on each. Not all '57 related, but most of the info was posted for 52-59 Fords in mind. Thanks to the Hamb guys

Hmmm......opens for me. I wonder if you have to be a Hamb member, or Hamb 52-59 Ford club member.
Other guys please chime in on this.

I think the issue is that link is to a thread inside a Hamb social club, not on the main board. Hamb members who are not members of a particular social club cannot view their contents. Tom, I don't believe you're in the "52-59 Ford" social club are you? I think Bill is, and my guess is he can view that link.
It's pages and pages of info, so not a simple copy and paste, but I'll try to figure something out to get it over here.

That's what I think too.

Nope. Been on that board for years, might have made one post, if that.
Wonder if this is might be the link you're lookin' for? It's just info on the 9" diff though, so probably not.

Not that one. I've seen it before, and it's a great tech source. The one I was trying to get over here was mainly about which year  cars had what width housings, how to modify the Explorer 8.8, etc etc. There was lots of detailed info such as spring perch styles / spacing, brake info,

Sounds like a good one.
What width cases? Do you mean what width axle housings?
