I had some spare time yesterday and thought I?d look at 57 Rancheros beings I have a good friend that owns one now. There was one in particular that caught my interest that was 1 of only 2 built. It?s red and in a car museum, about 7 minutes plus long. The guy not only told about the featured car but also the rest of the 21 models available. A lot of things I didn?t know. Heres a link if it?s ok to post here.  While you?re there check out all of the other 57 Ranchero. I helped make a video of my friends car and was posted there, it was also entered to the Peterson Museum online cars and coffee.

Wasn't that standard on some '57 Ranchero models as shown on this green one?

57chero

Looks like the emblem used on the front fender of a 56 T-bird, that didn't put those on the ranchero from the factory.

AH! Now I see that you guys are talking about this emblem.

Finally got a chance to listen to the video. I'm not sure I agree on the "only two made by Ford". It seem like I've seen 1/2 dozen F code Rancheros restored by Minter or Jerry's. The guy doing the video obviously made a mis statement when he said it was built on the Fairlane platform.
But, that said, it's a beautiful car. I also wondered about the "Ford added gauges"..was that tach a Ford item? idk.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

Either way, it's way cool and I want one!!!  :iamwithstupid:

Well the Peterson Museum has their Cars & Coffee o line Sunday morning. My friend managed to get her car in there and is entry #26. All of the owners videos were supposed to be30 seconds but there were some that went over. They will accept 45 second videos now so if anybody here is interested, check it out. This is a global event so let?s see how many 57 Fords we can get on there.
