Recolor windlace

My black windlace has changed to a kind of purple.  Any suggestions on a product to recolor in place.

I use Sems (spray cans), available at auto paint supply shops. Has worked great for me.........may require a respray after a few years if subject to a lot of sunlight or abrasion. They make several products, one for fabrics/carpets,etc and one for vinyls/plastics.  Oddly enough, I don't remember a black, but I wasn't looking for that color.

Or...how about a bottle of that liquid shoe polish? Has an applicator already on the bottle...no need to do a lot of taping. Between the applicator and a a small brush for the delicate spots...should do the trick. Shoe polish is a stain...should last for a good amount of time.

Good old RIT dye would also work. Used it on Black carpet a long time ago and worked great.

Oh yea! I had forgotten all about RIT..that would be good...make up a batch and go to town! Great Idea!

Went with Kiwi leather dye (shoe polish).  Applied with artists brush, looks good for now.  have used Rit in past on other projects but color retention time was very short. We'll see how long this lasts. Thanks for the help.
