Oh you guys are funny.. hahahah
Interesting story on this place.. It was owned by a gentleman that had so many parts. a old garage and just filled to the brim with boxes of NOS  stuff(of every brand)
Anyhow.. Tom Bradburn Passed and he was mentoring Shay(the now owner)
Shay moved out of the city and lives about 45 minutes away from me... he has 4-18 wheeler trailers filled with stuff..... he is still in the process of doing stock and inventory.
I have yet to go and see him, but I know he has been busy, has a young family and is going away for 2 weeks to get some rest.If you call and get no answer.. he will return your call.I once went to his place before he moved and found king pins for a 32 heavy axle..NOS...... i kinda was blown away.
I am just impressed with this young man and his drive to make his business work.

anyhow.. just a resource for any old car guy.

Sounds to me like the real resource is the business owner, not necessarily the inventory.  I'd bet lots of NOS, and quality OLD Aftermarket repair parts are tossed out every year by new owners of old businesses that just do not see the value in figuring out what they really have in inventory.

Most of my working life was spent selling to Bicycle dealers, and Motorcycle dealerships.  You would not believe how much vintage stuff is tossed, that today's restorer's would kill to buy.

Three cheers for Shay and his desire to build his business.

I worked for a Lincoln?Mercury dealer in late 70's. Killed me to see the stuff this clown threw away. He didn't have a clue about running a dealership. His dad forgot to wake up one morning, and Jr inherited the place. The stuff he had hauled off to the dump was gold. He finally went bankrupt.

A local parts place here, C. E. Beckmens, been around since 1905. The city of New Bedford condemned part of their building about 10 years ago. They were throwing out dumpsters full of parts NOS; for Fords from the 20's -50's, was really a shame. People told them there were worth money, but they still tossed 'em.
