I installed one in my 61 a few months ago. Had to file a bit on the mounting collar so it fit right but I finally have turn signals and brake lights. Every used one I found the r rear brake light wouldn't work. 175 might seem expensive but it was cheaper than the 300 the nos ones were going for.

Those are necessary for to use in the Borgesson conversion to make the horn work.  '57 has a wire downthe column, '58-59 use the plate for the horn brush to rotate on.  You can use your original '57 Ford steering wheel and column after shortening 2" with this setup.   You still need the horn brush and black collar after drilling a hole in the '57 like the 58&'59 wheel and you may need an original '59 canceller that snaps on the back of the steering wheel.  Note you will have to drill two new hose where the turn signal mounts as the '59 has slightly different holes as well.   Overall pretty easy to convert once you compare to a '59 and this doesn't require finding a '58 or '59 column anymore.

Hello  Gathering parts to convert a 1957 steering wheel to a 1959 style with horn wire out of steering shaft. Lalessi1 mentioned cancellor  was being repro. Anyone have any idea where. Or can the 57 style be cut down to 59 specs? Is brass button and sleeve in steering wheel available? Trying to use a perfect PS horn ring.  Bill Oregon

I think these are the same. The new style is what the '59s have. The old style like the '57s is also shown.

Look at the 67/77 Bronco, that is like the 59. The one shown for the '53-'60 F-100 is like the '57
