c6 fluid leak from kickdown o ring

hi guys-i haven't posted in a long time but i have had health issues and lots of setbacks with parts, but i have an issue that maybe you fellas can help with . i have a fairlane 500 2dr ht 63a that i installed a 63 390 and 68 c6 automatic. car runs and drives fantastic,but one thing i cant seem to fix is the o ring seal on the kickdown shaft keeps leaking. i replace it and its good for 3-4 weeks then starts leaking again---very frustrating. anyone come across this problem? any help would be appreciated----fred

There are two seals.  One is an O-Ring on the kick down shaft that you are changing.  The other is a seal on the gear selector shaft.  Since you haven't changed the seal, I would consider changing the seal.
