Anybody ever do a straight axle in a `57?

Just now re-read this and saw where you gave a part number for the speedway part...I wasnt really paying close enough attention there..
Anyway, I am looking into some aftermarket springs, as the Speedway/MAS parts are 32 inch, really better for our applications.  I will be stopping by the trailer supply place this week and checking out the 3500 lb axle springs that they keep...They may work out ok as well...I'll keep you posted.

My Friend Rob P. is doing a 57 gasser for a client..... here is the pics... awesome workmanship...I love gassers....and love 57 Fords... But I would have to have a second 300 to do a gasser...but thats just me!
