I have 2 option , hook up my pcv line to the pcv vac. port on the carburator or to the vaccum fitting on the back of the intake manifold? Your opinion. I can do either one. Thank You

I installed a PCV valve on my 57 (312 engine) last year and connected the vacuum line to the PCV valve to the port on the carburetor (4 bbl).  From the research I had done regarding the installation, this was the recommended location to prevent leaning out the rear cylinders if connecting to the rear of the intake manifold.  The carburetor vacuum location centers the vacuum loss better than if connected at the rear (according to the research I had done).  The car runs great with the vacuum connected at the carb base, so I can say for sure that location works well.
Good Luck,
Dave

By attaching to the carburetor port, oil carbon deposits will be evenly distributed to all the intake valves instead of just one.
