Good morning, I said that after I got my 57 RHT done there would be NO more total restorations for this old man. How ever that has changed, my brother inlaw has talked me into restoring his 1968 F100 4X4. I have a current NPD and LMC truck parts books and was wondering if any of you may know of another supplier. I am going to have to totaly rebuild the front end on this thing and the parts books I have don't carry everything I need.  I am not so sure that this project isn't going to make the BLACK CLOUD 57 RHT,  look like a walk in the park.

I don't know if it is rare but the survivor list would be short.  Ford only started building its own 4x4s in '61.  Before that they were conversions.  Great project!

I thought 58-59 were the first factory 4x4's. Never seen a 57 f-100 4x4 but plenty of the dual headlight models.

I've only seen 59-60, but nothing earlier but that doesn't mean there aren't 58s.

NAPCO offered the conversion kits.  The following link is to an explanation about NAPCO conversions.

I believe they are on I-35 S/B on the west side of the freeway about 1/3 of the way toward Norman.
If it is the place I am thinking of. Same bldg as Mustang resto place.

Correct, south end of OKC on I35.  They used to be "Obsolete Ford Parts" and were next door to "Classic Chevy".  They are still separate buildings but all under one name.
