The air duct is round mostly with one end squared and is made like the old air ducts used on the 1855-57 Thunderbird and the 55-56 Ford car heater.  some sort of a flat metal that is attached to a cloth covering to flex.  The A/C one is bigger and I was unable to find one when I restored the A/C in my 57.  I did find the right size ID flex material at McMaster-Carr and formed the square end.  The flex duct was a poor substitute for the original but you cannot see it and it works.  Good luck on the blower box.  I had some damage to mine and had it repaired by a fiberglass boat shop. Again, it is not pristine, but sometimes you have to cut your losses.

The blower motor is different than the heater one also.

Dennis Carpenter sells almost all of the A/C gaskets and seals if you need.
