Windshield or Dash - what to install first

In the experience others have had, what is the best order for installation? Dash , then windshield, or Windshield followed by Dash?

Agreed, the dash is not in the way of the windshield installation, but accessing the front dash screws might be easier without the windshield in. Not sure if 57 and 58s are the same, but on my 59, there is a row of vertical screws along the front edge of the dashboard that would be much easier to install with the windshield out of the way.
1959 Meteor 2 door sedan , 428 Cobra Jet 4 speed. Been drag racing Fords (mostly FEs) 47 years and counting.
Previous 50s Fords include 57 Custom 4 door, 2 57 Ford Sedan Deliveries, 59  Country Sedan, and as a 9 year old, fell in love with the family 58 2 door Ranch Wagon.

windlace before dash...windlace before headliner...headliner before windshield

Definitely headliner before back window, much easier installing headliner with windshield out.
