can anyone measure their trim height on their Ranchero? see pic

if has just a left and right of this, it might be the missing piece to my custom trim Im working on. So I might be interested if anyone has a set of these collecting dust.

Also still looking for some Hardtop fin trim for a 2 door, both sides, just need the straight lengths, I have extra curves

Abe, are you looking for the piece shown above the red arrow? I have a pair and the spear to the rear.  (208) eight 63-1353.

Hi Terry, I need the door trims, but would like to have the measurement- to check where it lands. Im working out a custom trim pattern. Otherwise I have to cut and make something that looks like this.

Yes, this def what I needed, I'm laying out some custom with a "K" trim.  I'll use this to see if this trim will work for what I want.
thanks

FYI, will still be looking for some of this lower trim, if anyone had some stashed away!

I'm still a little confused on what you're trying to do, are you trying to make up a set like the Ranchero picture you posted earlier. What pieces do you have and what pieces do you need.

I'm replicating a trim set up done on a custom car from the late 50's.  It's was done in 57/58 so near new.  I know a lot of people won't like it.  But my hard top has been too far gone.
I have the same rear Satelites taillights, and a couple other things.

So I might as well keep going on it.

I'm not building an exact clone.  But like to make things match.

I need to go a measure tomorrow. Now that I look at it the might have just lengthen the reg 500 HT lower trim with some trim added.   The bottom piece on the 500 in that section becomes the lower start of the Check.
I thought the ranchero trim would let save from cutting up a lower trim part.
Some once that part is removed I can setup the upside-down fin trim.

I ended up cleaning and detailing the wagon for a show tomorrow.

IRRC the Fairlane 2 door sedan's lower quarter panel moulding was in a very simular location.  Of course, the front portion on the quarter panel was much different.

Looks like the ranchero lower trim hits to low.  So I'll be modifying some existing trim.
I still need another set of the long straight fin trim. Thanks.
