At a car show on the weekend I was fortunate enough to see a Ford Model K. It was in among some Model Ts.  I have never seen one before and unfortunately the hood wasn't open. I have googled it and have seen photos of the six cylinder engine. I would really like to understand as much as I can about this engine. This car was produced before the Model T.

Well...if you googled it....you probably know more than any of us. LOL!!!
I've been to the Henry Ford in Dearborn, and didn't see one...although in all honesty I didn't make it through the entire building.

The Model K was a small disaster for Ford.  The six cylinder engine was too strong for the transmission and there were several transmission failures caused by the engine.  Henry was an interesting guy.  He blamed the problem on the engine and not the transmission so he refused to make a 6 cylinder engine,  They were put in Ford cars for the 1941 model year but very few vehicles had them.
