cable to control arm

Jerry, check the whole thread, it may answer some other questions you had. Not sure where the new cable came from..maybe Control Cables...that's where the back cables came from.

Rich,  thanks  for  the pictures, but ,  how does  the cable attach to the release arm?

Do you have the cable in hand and is the release arm out of the guide tube? The reason for asking is it seems to me (from 12 years back) that it is was pretty obvious when looking at the two together. If I remember the cable just drops in a slot and after they are reinstalled the cable can't come out because the guide tube holds it in the arm.
