Hello. New to the site and have read quite a bit on different subjects.
I'm starting to do sheet metal work, floor pans, rockers and quarter panel patch.
My question is about the body lines around the wheel opening. I have 4 older quarter panel pieces that came with the car. The crease in front of the wheel opening doesnt roll down as far as the original. Looks like about 2 inches short from coming down toward the rocker panel.
I'll have to get another pic of the replacement panel
TIA

Welcome to the forum Zuma! The aftermarket panels for the most part are very good, but not perfect. Unless you're building a show car back to original, I doubt that anyone would notice. Mine are like you described. I never gave it a second thought. Are you having to replace the outer wheel wells?
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

Ford Blue blood

The Ranchero I built had a stock original right side quarter, the left side quarter was replaced in it's entirety some time early in the cars life so I'm going to guess they are as they were when it left the factory.

My car has a factory quarter-panel on one side and a lower replacement section on the other. The crease blends into a flat on both.

Good morning ppl. An update on the wagon
I may be able to keep some of the quarter where the crease ends. I have a friend that does body work so we will see how it works out. I can do all the mechanical. Will send pics of the chassis
Here are better shots of the front of the quarter panel

To show what I'm starting with and a disclaimer from me, I have mainly worked on GM with the majority of that being Pontiacs.
This is a car my step father bought ,tore apart and has since passed so I'm trying to assemble it for my mother. Some parts missing and other stuff mixed in with a 46 Studebaker he tore down at the same time!
It is 6 cylinder 3 speed manual. Engine was left outside so I bought a 59 and set in it.
