  That's where I stole the picture from. I have also seen the same thing but in a Ranchero Squire, which has to be rare also.

Interesting story but several errors. First of, I guarantee that wagon is much heavier than 3600 pounds, my buddy`s 70 Torino GT 429 4 speed was over 4000 lbs, I imagine this wagon is closer to 4200. They implied that a similar 2 door would be 3100 pounds, maybe with no engine in it!
They also said the 429 Super Cobra Jet had cap screw connecting rods, which is incorrect. The FE 428 SCJ had cap screw connecting rods, but the 429-460s never did, SCJ, Boss 429, or otherwise. Regardless, a very cool car. It said there was only 6 of these built, a racing buddy in British Columbia had one of the other 5 429 CJ Squire wagons. His was a whiteish/grey, with the woodgrain and Shaker hood. My buddy bought the wagon in the early 80s, and swapped the CJ and Shaker into his N code 429 ThunderJet 70 Torino GT, which originally had the 360 429 and 4 speed, with the non functional GT scooped hood. I think he had the shell scrapped, but kept the 31 spline Nodular 9" rearend, and C6. I had the wagons original 4 bolt main block for years, but sold it to another friend a while back. It has the partial VIN stamped into the block. Be cool to get a Marti report for that wagon.
1959 Meteor 2 door sedan , 428 Cobra Jet 4 speed. Been drag racing Fords (mostly FEs) 47 years and counting.
Previous 50s Fords include 57 Custom 4 door, 2 57 Ford Sedan Deliveries, 59  Country Sedan, and as a 9 year old, fell in love with the family 58 2 door Ranch Wagon.

"They were known as Challengers. Challenger I was sectioned 3" and road raced across the pond. Challenger II was a road car, also sectioned 3" and painted blue. Challenger III was chopped and sectioned as the pictures above show.

Still, considering the effort to section a car it's remarkable there's been at least 4 Falcons receive this treatment.

Challenger 1, a '62 Falcon Futura Holman & Moody built to run at Sebring in '62. They exchanged the original 6 cylinder for the just introduced Fairlane 221 cubic inch V-8. The decision to run this car at Sebring was made just 2 weeks prior to the race and this car was built in only 10 days. Ralph Moody tested the car himself at an area of the Charlotte Airport they were allowed to test on. Team drivers Marvin Panch and Jocko Maggiacomo finished 2nd in the class behind Jim Hall in his Chapparral. This was an amazing accomplishment considering it was just a thought 2 weeks earlier and the 221 was an untested engine for racing purposes. But Holman & Moody had that ability."

That was quite an accomplishment in such a short time frame.  My 1962 Fairlane was originally a 221.  Ran it for several years and then my son used it in a Falcon when I changed to a big block.  Tough little motor just like it's larger siblings 260, 289, 302, 351.
