Sounds like my summer last year. Welcome back! 

A few days ago, I had the '57 out for a drive on local highways. A guy drove beside me for a while, and he gave a thumbs-up. At a traffic light, he was next to me, and we got to talk a little. He seemed really interested and took a picture of my for-sale sign with my phone number. I get that a lot, but they never call. Well, he called last night from the D-FW area. He's working a 5 day drag racing event there (I forget the name of the drag strip) and is planning a trip up to Amarillo after that event is over. He is really interested and loved the way the car sounds. He emphasized his interest in purchasing, and made sure I had his number. I may not have the car much longer!

  It's nice to have something sold but, the odd time I get sellers remorse. Since we moved I have regrets about selling my 1966 Bronco. It would have been perfect for a daily driver in our small town or a bit of off-roading. Anyways good luck with selling your 57.

Hope it works out for you Rich; I know the feeling, I have someone interested in mine also. 

Thanks Joe. If it all works out, I may do an east coast roadtrip. It would be a hell of a road trip.......here to Florida to visit 4 or 5 people, then north to Mass and NH to see old friends and another sister. This may very well be the last year I could even think about a trip like that.

I've had a for sale sign in it for a while now, but other than casually talking about it here, I haven't been trying very hard. No ads anywhere, guess I've been kinda dragging my feet a little (or a lot, haha). Don't really want to sell it, but no choice.
