Okay, time for the clear...

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

By now it's getting late but we can't stop yet. He manages to get the last few coats of clear on and I don't know what to say, other than it looks absolutely phenomenal!

Look how laser straight these lines are!!!!

It's everything I imagined it would be and more!

I cannot express how pleased I am with the job they have done!!!

Wow. Words can't describe. I'm just glad it's not me paying for all their talent! You said something a few weeks ago about them hitting the 200 hour mark.....gotta be 300 by now. Very impressive. I can see why you chose them.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

He put the wheels back on it and pulled it out of the booth yesterday and un-masked it.

I am late to the party, but this sure looks phenomenal, Joe !

Again, I just love the clean work you all are doing, the crisp GT lines, the careful masking for each step. this sure is a real high end repaint !

it is a pleasure to watch, thx for posting !

CobraJoe

Thanks guys! The whole job was pretty reasonable; me giving him a fresh, blank canvas sure helped in the money department!!

Cleaned up the old tailight lens and bezels and got them installed in the quarter panel extensions. I was also able to buy a pair of NOS side reflectors, so I got them installed too. Just need to wait on the weatherstripping to come in and then I can get these back on the car.

Is it getting wet sanded and buffed or leaving it as is, not that it needs it.

CobraJoe

Leaving as is for now. Once I install the vinyl top, install the interior, etc... and install the drive train it will get a cut-N-buff.
