Can anyone give me the location of the front edge of the stock seat in relation to the front stud when seat is fully forward and fully back? My car is a Custom.

Thanks
Terry

I'm asking this so I can locate the fuse panel under the seat.  The plan is to use drawer slides/rollers to pull it forward of the front edge of the seat when seat is pushed fully back.  Also, I want the panel not to be visible from the rear with the seat forward.

That's going to be difficult to do. Why not put it on the driver's side kickpanel? I did mine with a drop-it-down aluminum panel (Ron Francis), but if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't have spent the time and money to do it as the panel is readily reachable (even for me now). Doing that, or your plans, requires extra lengths of wire so it can be pulled out (or down), which makes for more wire spaghetti.

I'm gonna put mine in the trunk of the Fairlane, and in the passenger side cargo box of the Couriers. Plenty of access room, and yet out of sight.
But I bet your car is all wired now, so that might be a bit difficult for you.

Given I put bucket seats in my Ranchero I built a center console and placed the panel under it.  Easy access, not visible and I didn't need to put wing nuts on the seat mounts (you/us old folks know the torture of working under the dash!).
