...making some headway but pitifully slow!

Yea, but they look good...and probably twice as fast as if you took them somewhere and had to wait for them to be done.
Wish I was so talented. BUT...I am lucky, shop around me that are good, are fairly fast...but then the population in my neck of the woods is smaller. So there is that.

TO GASMAN,     ISN'T THERE ANY THING you CAN'T DO?   JERRY

Thanks for your thoughts.  Seats finished and sewing machine put away.  Gutting the interior...new seats, carpet, package tray, sill plates, window fuzzies, Lizard Skin insulation, instrument cluster, and lots of additional wire.

HAY GASMAN,  isn'there any thing you can't  do?

Jerry, can't see, joints don't bend, no stamina and motivation is a rare commodity.  So my list of skills is shrinking due to physical limitations.  Don't get me wrong, I am extremely thankful and fortunate to be on the sunny side of the sod.

hay gasman,  if I sounded sarcastic,  I didn't mean to  be,   I'm 86 an still do quite a bit,  therre are limits,  ,to  start with,  this crummy computor, loss everything,   had to have it scraped an then  rebooted,  been  at it for 3 days, an now I find I can't post a picture on this forum,  getting tired.   think I'll take it out in  the backyard an shoot it

technology is sooo great..........until it isn't!

If it isn't a virus, it's likely deliberately, planned obsolescence.  I need to replace my big screen TV because Netflix and Hulu drivers are no longer supported.  Frontier discontinued support of their DSL internet so I had to upgrade to fiber optics.  Faster but faster than what I use.  Windows 10 couldn't maintain
WIFI connection with the new fiber optics.  So, new laptop with Windows 11.  Printer doesn't like Windows 11.  New printer bought yesterday!  Oh! All the Windows 10 app must be repurchased for Windows 11 if available!  CDs are out so no laptops in stock with CD drives in them.  Ranting!  Hell yes.  My life is disrupted if not on hold for three months with calls to tech support, hardware suppliers, internet providers!!!  Can get very frustrating.

Technology is useless! Anyone know where I can buy an EMP bomb? (asking for a friend...actually for a LOT of friends!) LOL!!!

It gets to me as well.  Try operating a new car! You need a computer sciences degree just to start the thing!  Yes, planned obsolescence is everywhere!  My machine had the hard drive go belly up.  Wouldn't start 90% of the time.  New machine, Windows 11 (more new learning, make it simpler?), new monitor, the RGB analog couldn't talk to 11, thankfully the printer figured out how to talk and print with 11.  Thought all my pictures (family and car) were gone.  Son-in-law to the rescue!   He is a geek, no problem he says, send me the drive and I'll get the for you.  This was after the Geek Squad (that I paid for) said they were all lost......I'm happy but it has been a long road!

reminds me....I have to actually use the Photostick I bought to download my pics before my windows 10 computer takes a dive.

Tech and OUR cars. Most of the members here haven't had this issue, but when the computer on my 4.6 dohc wasn't performing as it should, I talked to a local performance shop to see if they could determine the issue. I was told even if they could, they themselves couldn't fix it because the older, slower components in an OBD 1 system would not work with a new component, they were just too fast for the old system.     It's scary how much stuff we don't even know about.
