All I can smell is fresh paint, what's with this site? We have one in primer, one in white, Norwell will soon have some on his frame, and I still have a bit of that smell in my garage! Anyone else?

If your asking me, I agree with Wildhog, you see a lot of red ones, I'm not saying they don't look good but If your going to pick an original color there isn't much to pick from. Took me a long time and 11 test cans at 19 to 26 bucks a can depending. I would spray up my old bumperettes with each new color, I finally got it.

I agree, it seems everything I look at on the web is red, but the area where I live is virtually empty of '57 Fords so I'd have the only one around here no matter what color I chose. lol

If you want to be different, then maybe the Blue is your color.  It's not hard to see what my choice was.  However, I did use a brighter white than the old Ford Colonial White.

A color choice is very personal.  It's a big job to get the car ready and a significant cost for a good paint job.  You don't want to turn your head and look longingly as a car goes by in the color that you wished you had chosen.

I did not choose my car or its color based on how it would be judged by others.

Good luck with making your selection.  As hotroddonnie noted, make your choice from a test spray.  A small color sample is just too hard to get the big picture.

I also like the brighter white with the red...like Rich K's....unless you're trying to keep it oem colors.

Ford Blue blood

I'm a red kinda guy, the blue just don't hit the sweet spot for me......but too many reds out there.  My Ranchero is going to be a GM color, dark red matalic, looks black unless the sun is shining on one spot.

I vote for Red n white..... but I would use Wimbleton white... it has a cream warm feel.... Colonial White is to stark for me.....like a fridge white. But this is just my opinion.
Bama.... what is your tire choice..... blackwalls or WWs?

This as well will affect the colour.
At anyrate,.... your 57 will be a winner!
