and a last note.. not really important.. but I geek out on this stuff......
I have been doing some build renderings for a client of mine. automotive stuff.. and he mentions that I should do some fender badging of the logo I made up for this car years back.....
So he took it upon himself to grab the drawings and he is in the process of making a set of fender badges for me.
he will have them polished,Gold anodized and then do needle injection paint work....
I have seen his other finished custom badging. it its mind blowing....
whether I ever run these or they shall only be in the studio cabinet is still up in the air..... but I was really blown away he wanted to even do this.

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

Wow, looking great, Jeff. Did you do the painting/finishing, or your friend? He must do this for a business!? OK, never mind, I went back and reread your first post. "Needle injection painting" that's a new one on me, and I suspect many of us old geezers.

I never heard of needle injection either Rich..... yes.Tom, the man that painted my car laid down son HOK gold Candy over a silver base.
I believe they wanted to anodize.. but the cost was a little crazy for such a small item.
John,. they guy who did the machine work told me the whole procedure.. but my eyes glazed over after 30 seconds of completely not understanding his process.
hahaha
