The next series of shots are of the 57 Movie Police Car being featured in the Milestone area at the 2007 Fabulous Fords Forever Car Show at Knott's Berry Farm.  Again, the 57 movie car was a big favorite and that was a memorable day when Rick and I convinced the Ford Car Club Council to feature a single year of our favorite Ford vehicles. The 1st photo is of the group of 57's that were featured in the milestone area, among which was a Country Squire that was featured on the cover of Hemmings, a Fairlane 500 sponsored by Lucas Oil and featured in a Super Bowl commercial, a Sunliner, a Skyliner, an F-Code Ranchero and the 57 Movie Car. In the last photo I took a photo of my son-in-law in the traditional "up against the fender and spread em"  pose.

These two were in a Disney movie. They are not original police cars, but painted for the movie.

Some people love them, some hate them  :003: I have a friend who is always trying to talk me into putting an Edsel front end on mine, I just smack him in the head with a cast iron frying pan  :burnout:

Thats almost the same thing my friend Ron said when I sent him the picture. He has a very nice Edsel and we just enjoy harassing each other  :003:

I know if it had the tele-touch transmission option it would have been doomed for any kind of dependable day to day use.

     Back in the 50s  and 60s I remember people complaining about those  transmission shifters and the cars going into reverse when going forward and making a turn.   I never had one, but they had to be very scary.
