Tom, the way the Plymouth came about was a very close friend of mine had started to make a street rod out of it. He died of a massive heart attack about midway though the project. His widow desided to move and wanted me to have the car so I bought it from her. He had put a 350 \ 350 in it. I sold them both before I ever took it from her garage.  In all the years I'v done this I have never bastardized a car, meaning if it is a ford it has ford power, same with mopar and Gm.  Now that being said because there very few 31 Plymouth parts available and I discovered that model A parts will bolt right on and even look right.  So mister Ford played a large part in finishing up this project, from the mustang front end to the 8in rear end.  It's a fun car even if it isn't stamped with a blue oval.

I have to say that Alvin's 31 Plymouth is nice.  It'd look great in my garage!
