Ron, I can't prove for sure that they are exactly the same size on the fullsize Edsel, but the Comet lenses definitely have Edsel part numbers and they have basically similar design!

Maybe the proportions in the  Comet pictures are deceiving. remember the Comet is a Compact and anything off a fullsize car must look bigger on it.

1967 Fairlane that was owned originally by Bob Nottingham just sold for $400,000.00 Cdn dollars. 
His son races a similar car and held the NHRA National record with it.

Father and son's Fairlanes.

Bob says 'Heres one of my 1966 427 Fairlane, taken in 1967 at the old Arlington track, was running in SS/C with one 4 barrel, 11.80's. Originally ran SS/B with dual 4's. But with the single could ET almost the same and the record was approx. 11.70's'

  I passed on a s-code 66 GT before I got my 57. Auto, Highland green, parchment interior, car was in Gresham, Oregon. I thought his asking price of $6000 was a little on The high side.
