I watched something about him on TV and then I Googled him and did some digging.
When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

That's gorgeous! We see alot of the GM stuff, but hardly ever these Fords. Great stuff.

Thanks for all the pic's Joe!  The 39-40 Fords are some of the best looking cars ever. I couldn't ever chop that beautiful top.

Joe,
My 1st car was almost a 40 tudor. We couldn't get it to move off the spot it was parked on. Being 16 and dumb with no tools I didn't realize the drums were probably rusted to the shoes. It had been parked for years in front of this elderly couples home. Even in the early 60's there were very few pre war cars in the DC area. I ended up with a 51 Victoria which I had for 15 years.

The bumper sticker put a smile on my face.......I'm guessing "something Caverns in NC". I miss those big stickers as well as the water-slide decals for the windows. Joe, Jay, and John...you probably remember "Clarks Trading Post" or the Flume, Mohawk Trail, or........
Nice car, btw, maybe on it's maiden weekend trip.
