There was an article in Street Rodder mag about a year ago of a guy who bought a '56 Chev and turned it into a convertible...with a 427 side-oiler in it. Was his way of sticking it back in the faces of those guys who thought putting bow-ties into Blue Ovals was a good idea.

I would have to consider that guy a real hero for fixing up that thing correctly.   I like the way his mind works.   HAHA

Are you telling me that you actually have that thing in your garage?  You are still a good guy for helping your old friend like that.  We'll just call that a temporary winter illness that you have.
Hopefully you will be all better in the spring time.  Jay

No Jay, that is not at my shop, but at his garage. I'm too cheap to run the heat in my shop to work on my '57, lol.
When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

That would wake up the stupid Kamero.
Then it would be reliable and last for years and years to come.   And don't forget to keep the hood off of it so the pretty engine can be seen.

#1280 top picture.   It looks like the guy servicing the wheel has his legs under the car while it is jacked up. Most likely they are using a bumper jack.   It's hard to imagine a time when people could actually sit on the roadway like that without the fear of getting run over.  That stuff can't be done today, not even on a back road.
