   I always wanted one of these. Fairly rare body style Custom 500 with some sort of 427, preferably a SOHC.

  I spoke with the owner about it and it is an original paint survivor. He was quite happy with the thrifty six and three on the tree.

And I always wanted a '61 Starliner like the one next to that '64, or another hard to find '60 starliner like in your last pic (just not those colors). Some rare cars at that show. '62s aren't that easy to find either.

I wanted to do a Freddie Lorenzen 1964 back when I was waiting for my Custom 300 to come available.  There was a car auction here and there was a 2 door going on the block.  I got about 10-meters (33 feet) away from it and turned around.  All rusted, lots of work, not going to spend my money on it.
Later in the day a buddy that knew my dream asked if I bid on the Galaxie and I told him it was a turd.  He told me to go back and have another look.  It had already crossed the block and sold, turned out it was a movie double for the Double Jeopardy movie with Tommy Lee Jones and Ashley Judd.  They had done five of them and all the rust and crap was painted on.
Coulda woulda, didn't.
