WOW! A Y block in a Falcon, that gives me an idea for my extra engine.

The Autolite hat guy is saying get me the Saw-z-all, we'll just cut out the shock tower to firewall supports and the top of the core support, we will make it fit.

289 Windsor Falcon's were running deep into the 11's when that Y Block photo was taken.

They probably had a straight axle set up.
I would like to put my engine in a Chevy just to piss them off  :003:

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

Montesa was a Spanish dirt bike Manufacturer. Ossa, Bultaco were in there to. Is that Dan Gurney?

Gurney, was big into motorcycles.  His last motorcycle project was a recumbent motorcycle called The Gator.  His shop is in Santa Ana, CA, and they made mostly military items.  Very cool car guy.

CobraJoe

Yes, I believe it is.

I recall reading about some guys at Ford swapping a Y block V8 into a new 1960 Falcon, for a Ford executive, William Clay Ford, I believe. Don`t forget, this was a couple of years before the 221/260/289 small block Ford V8s were introduced . I seem to recall the swap was covered by Motor Trend or Car Craft magazine.
