Could be under contract from Coastal Health or St. John's? Where I used to work Whites automotive across the street had a contract with the RCMP for all their vehicles. It may be easier to follow  the paper trail if something goes wrong with a repair if there is only one dealer involved.

Ford was running scared at that time because they were the only company that supplied a chassis with a ambulance prep package and they had no idea what was causing the fires. They would only let certain techs even work on them. I know of one that started on fire in the ambulance bay at a hospital. After that some hospitals made you park outside because of the danger. The worst fires were the ones that happened when they were being driven. The fires would spread so fast people were lucky to get out with out being burned.

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

Hello JOE, I am glad you are back. Your knot headed neighbor must have given you a break. I sure like looking at what you post, take care, Alvin

CobraJoe

Thanks Alvin, glad to be back, I took ten days off to go to western New York hunting (about 575 miles from here). Been busy trying to get the electric company to approve a new 200 amp service drop for my shop, it's been 5 weeks and waiting...
As far as the neighbor goes, well lets just say he's still fighting my other neighbor and me.   :deadhorse:

Anyways, how about a Ford pic, or shall I say pics:

great pics Joe, as usual.
Now. Anybody else thinking this is not an actual old pic.
I feel something is phoney here. Why would anybody in their right mind in the 1940s or 1950s put such a HD logo advertising on their 32 rod and why uses 39 wheels. that 46ish Ford has much tooo much patina if it was a 10 year old car by then. there is a thinband whitewall (1963ish) tire on that steel wheel in the background. I say no. and NO.
this is the 2020 picture of what they think is the 1950s.
also the stance of that Deuce is too 'perfect' for a real 50s rod.

So. Still looks cool!

djfordmanjack

Definitely yes! just asking if anybody else feels that this isn't what it looks to be.

imho, there is a whole lotta difference in what it used to be and what is shown today.

this, today, is still exactly how it was in 1955. The Williams Bros. 29 rdstr survivor. (and Goldenrod)
