Yes Rich,... that's Jays Car.... and the B/W Shot is Hotrod Donnies old 57..... No... Donnie sold the car to a Gentleman that attended our show.... the workmanship on that car is outstanding.Mr. Alan Breezie(sp?) now owns it but I heard his health was very bad.
Not sure where Hotrod Donnie is now. he moved to the Maritimes and have never heard from him.
He is a great guy.

ME TOO! The comments I get on my car are split between "I love the dog dish hubcaps"  and "your car needs rims"! I probably have more money in the wheels,  tires, and hub caps than a set of a of custom wheels.

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

Oh man, Jeff!!!

Jack Carrols Deuce gets me , again and again. It is hands down my alltime favorite 32 5w !

The music is a little 'loud' for me, but else just a quintessential 1950s hotrod !

Only Deuce contender coming close to that imho is Fred Steele's roadster. those two cars come immediately to my mind, thinking about 32s.

As a matter of fact, our friend Jay knew Fred in person !

this old survivor still wears its original paint and even pinstriping from the 50s. I has been unaltered since. I believe it' still the same engine, upholstery, and cloth top.

Interesting, the black and silver 57 has all the Meteor trim, and the show card says it`s a Meteor, but it seems odd that they would have left off the Meteor grill, which is the most distinctive item on a Meteor. Unless it was actually going to be a drag car, and the Meteor grill was considered "too heavy".
1959 Meteor 2 door sedan , 428 Cobra Jet 4 speed. Been drag racing Fords (mostly FEs) 47 years and counting.
Previous 50s Fords include 57 Custom 4 door, 2 57 Ford Sedan Deliveries, 59  Country Sedan, and as a 9 year old, fell in love with the family 58 2 door Ranch Wagon.
