R code Comet brought back memories.  Look how close that clutch fan is to the radiator.  My '66 Fairlane GT with a CJ with about that much clearance.  One day out of the blue, a hard second gear and the fan jumped into the radiator.  Just once, a new radiator and it never did it again but what a mess.

The Ford V8 promotional film; pretty cool, especially for the time. Lot of technical inspections I never realized they did back in the day.

Dave...there must have been a few of those made. I remember seeing one in San Diego in the 70's. always wondered if they really ran or not...or if they did, could them move?
