Enjoying? Beyond that. Makes me wish I had spent more time up there over the last 45 years (especially when it was easier for us to travel back and forth between our 2 countries) and done some driving around the back roads and villages.

Thanks!   :006:

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

Quote from: hemidave on 2020-04-28 07:19I'll try that one. My wife likes Paint for some reason and is not keen on changing things, so I'll have to tread lightly and show her what might be done better ...and keep the peace..    Thanks Tom
You will still have Paint. IrfanView will also be your photo storage program.
My first tip is to set it so that the the column shown on the left side of this pic with all the folders shows up.  Makes it much easier to find the pix that you have stored. It's not necessary to make new folders but I've made a lot of different folders for different subjects since I have so many pix.
Play around with it a bit & I'll try to help you with your questions. You could send me PMs so that I don't keep cluttering up this thread. We could swap Email addys if you want.

Geese.........check out that engine lift bracket!  That's some major engineering.

Remove the Thermactor pump and the extra plumbing, and it would be perfect.  I'd bet the cost of those correct number smog parts are very costly for the restorer's today.

Anything unique to a Boss 429 engine or car is insanely expensive. You need pretty deep pockets to restore one to original.

Wasn't Imperial what we now know as Esso at one time?

Great pics! Thanks!  :002:
